MB, a 42-year-old disabled man, was accused of stealing prescription medication from his neighbor in an apartment building. MB and the neighbor, a disabled woman, had a long history of disputes. In fact, the neighbor was known to local police for frequently calling and reporting missing items. Nevertheless, MB was formally charged.
MB maintained his innocence from the beginning. He wanted a trial. MB and Henry prepared for trial. Not surprisingly, the neighbor did not show up to court on the trial date. There was no independent evidence. The case was dismissed.
