Record Sealed – District Court

At a hearing, Attorney Henry Fasoldt convinced a judge to seal his client’s record.

The client, DW, a young lawyer, had been charged in the past year with Assault and Battery. Later, the case was dismissed. Under Massachusetts law, a person whose case was dismissed may petition the court to have his or her record sealed. Given the lack of record and strong likelihood of prejudice to DW’s career, the judge agreed that it was in the interests of justice to seal the record.
