Outcome: Dismissed

Description: Client, a 52-year-old male, was charged with OUI-2nd offense in 1989. In 1990, while the case was still pending, he moved out of state. A warrant was issued. Client came back to Boston to remove the warrant and, hopefully, resolve the case. The trooper who arrested client had no independent memory of the case. In addition, there was no written narrative in any file. The Commonwealth was unable to proceed; the case was dismissed for want of prosecution.
